Speed

Do you have a Porsche 911?
Or a Peugeot 106?

Either way, there is nothing quite like the thrill and the buzz of acceleration.

And acceleration is totally legal.

The problem with speed isn't necessarily about breaking the speed limits. Speed is a factor in many accidents even when it is below the signposted maximum. It's called inappropriate speed.

This video shows how just
5 kmph (only 3mph)
over the limit can mean the difference between a smashed headlight and a smashed skull...

 Do you remember this clip?

Road conditions make a huge difference to the safe speed you can travel . Wet roads will increase your stopping distance by a factor of 2.

Icy roads could mean your car takes 10 times as long to stop.

However good your car and  your skills are, if you are going too fast you simply will not be able to slow down fast enough.
