Braking
Vented discs and sintered brake pads definitely improve your car's braking performance. But, they do nothing to help until your foot hits the brake pedal. The best upgrade to your braking system is sharp, timely reactions.

Travelling at 30mph, the car will move
9 metres before you get to the brake.
Then it will take an average of 14 metres to fully stop.
That's a total of 23 metres!
And that's only at 30mph!
On wet roads the distance will be twice as long. On ice it could be 10 times longer.
